Danish Building and Construction Arbitration Board

We have a team of construction law advisers consisting of dedicated attorneys with many years of experience from the building industry. Having previously acted both as in-house counsel and project manager on site for some of the largest national contracting businesses and constructors as well as having acted as attorneys representing law firms, we have extensive experience in and success with advising (public) constructors, contractors, technical advisers and financial institutions in relation to issues in the building industry. Our approach is based on a strong belief that even in the most complex conflicts, a useable and constructive solution can be found, and that the time and resources of the involved parties come to much better use on the building project than on the arbitration tribunal.

However, there can be a number of reasons why a dispute between parties cannot be solved. If there are no possible solutions and arbitration proceedings are inevitable or necessary, we will ensure good results for our clients through significant professional capabilities, meticulousness, dedication and experience in conducting proceedings before the Tribunal.

In connection with disputes before the Tribunal, our work will primarily involve:

• Case strategy
• Settlement negotiations
• Arbitration proceedings

• Preservation of evidence and progress status report
• Expert decisions according to the general rules on construction work for consumers
• Informal valuation
• Conciliation and mediation

We are always available for a discussion of a case, and we can provide guidance as to how a construction law dispute should be handled.

Attorney-at-law, Partner Pedram Moghaddam, who is head of the construction law team, has great lecturing experience and often lectures operators in the building industry in the contents of the general rules on construction work for consumers.
