Seyran Melissa Özkan, Paralegal: “As a paralegal at DANDERS & MORE you will assist associates of the company in the case work. In addition to this you will be attached to one of the departments, which will be your primary area of expertise. During the course of the working day, however, you will generally get into contact with several areas of the law beyond your primary area of expertise. I, myself, am part of the Real Estate team, but have managed tasks within the area of both employment law and bankruptcy law, which I value highly, since the different areas of legal practice are covered very well in this way. In addition to being attached to one of the departments, as a paralegal you will also be responsible for a number of debt collection cases, which you will attend to from the beginning and to the end. It is a heavy responsibility, but at the same time it is an expression of the company’s confidence in the paralegals. To me the job as a paralegal at DANDERS & MORE is both diversified and challenging, and it contributes towards gaining an insight into how law is put into practice, which is not something that is not taught in law school."
